Situated only a short distance from Brighton station and across the road from a major hotel currently without an operating evening kitchen, we are well placed to offer an exceptional earning opportunity to the right culinary concepts.


With summer and tourist season fast approaching, a heavy footfall carries thousands of feet past our casually chic, minimalistic restaurant space.


We are on the main thoroughfare from Brighton station to the beach front.


Dining space:

Café@62 offers a bi-level space that comfortably seats 40 covers.

We have a casual bistro feel with a minimalist neutral décor. Our seating is arranged with out door seating that could seat up to 12 on 2 separate tables, or 4 tables of 2. On the first floor we could make a number of configurations, that could increase the dining area from 12 to 18. Our upstairs dining area tops out at a maximum of 27.

The Serving space:

On the ground floor we have a café counter that could double as a bar for a BYOB function.

It could also serve as a delivery pick up space. Or could offer space for a small limited buffet set up for informal private functions such as work functions, birthdays or weddings.

There is a hi-speed Lincat cibo oven as well as a small conventional oven within the space, however the Cibo can be moved to the downstairs kitchen area if needed. There are 3 small refrigerators, a small freezer and an 18 bottle wine fridge. There is a coffee station for after dinner coffees.A small kitchenette leads off the back of the server/counter area which has 2

deep porcelain sinks and a small countertop.

Kitchen Area:

Downstairs in the basement is a small kitchen room. It is not designed for the preparation of animal proteins such as meats. We use minimalist, energy efficient means of preparing our food. This kitchen is ideal for Vegan, vegetarian or plant based food. 

Refrigeration consists of 2 pizza preparation fridges, ideal for keeping mis en place or garnishes cool. There are 2 Gastrotek combination steam ovens, that hold ½ Gastronorm dishes of which we have plain and perforated dishes. There are 2 induction hotplates and a flatgrill. 

There is a pressure cooker, Electolux Trinity food processor, Buffalo stand mixer, buffalo grill and a sous vide vacuum sealer. A small non- commercial scullery leads off the kitchen space.
